Fastest Electric Bicycle

Everything of electric vehicles has come a long way from demonstration concepts to totally functional cars and bikes that are fast being integrated into our daily lives.

However, one of the constraints that has always discouraged potential customers from switching to electric vehicles is the fact that, they aren’t able to realize the speeds that are common with the gasoline powered cars and bikes.

Now, two German companies, PG-Bikes and carbon fiber products developer UBC have joined hands to carry out everything’s fastest electric bicycle in the shape of the all new ‘BlackTrail’. UBC is a well renowned names in the field of automotive engineering as the company has been credited with the manufacturing of parts for Formula 1 race cars and Porsche Carrera GTs.

The BlackTrail is capable of reaching a top speed of about 110 km/h, that is much on top of another electric bicycles and the bike itself exults a classic look of that of a 1930s era bike and is included with a brown leather saddle and a battery cover. The BlackTrail is powered by a 1.3 kW CM49 V hybrid motor that gets is power from an onboard 49-volt lithium-ion battery and the bike is more than able to charging 80% of its energy levels in 30 minutes, while an entire recharges takes a little more than an hour and a half.

The body of BlackTrail is made from high-alloyed aluminum, titanium and magnesium and the bike comes with a combined weight of 19.8 kgs. This is a funny bike for people. And it cost $75,460.Will you get one?
