Fun Pandas

Pandas,are the species of Chinese bear,in black and white color.Pandas are very precious, because they are almost on the brink of extinction.I found the pandas are very lovely and here let us share more fun facts about pandas.

There are only about one thousand giant pandas left in western China.In China,the Chinese call the panda “Big Bear Cat.”

Pandas sit in an upright position while eating. This frees their frontage paws, with which they grasp their food. Like a matter of fact, they have sole front paws, with 5 fingers with claws along with another addition which they use as an opposable thumb, which is not actually like the human thumb, but is an extra long growth of their wrist bone.

Comparable in size to the American Black Bear, the Panda is about 2.5-3 feet in height, at the shoulder, when it stands on all its four legs, and is about 4.5-6 feet in length. The males weigh about 260 lbs, while the females are about 230 lbs.

The Pandas live at heights between 5,000 and 10,000 feet, in coniferous and broad-leafed forests, which have a dense brushwood of bamboo. These forests are filled with deep mist and rains around the year, and are frequently cloaked in thick clouds.

The diet of Pandas consist of bamboo stems, bamboo leaves and bamboo shoots.The Red Panda Bear , or Lesser Panda Bear are native to Northeast Asia - Bhutan, China, India, Laos, Myanmar and Nepal. Pandas can’t go without food for 5-6 hours.

Pandas are the most precious species in the world.All pandas are simple and honest,also lovely.If I travel to China,I will go and take a look of pandas.
